SummerFest 2005 hosted by Talent Rock - "that's hot!" was held May 28-30, 2005 at the World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center in Orlando Florida. Approximately 1,500 acting, comedy, dancing, modeling and singing participants has the opportunity to rock at this talent search competition.
There were more than 100 modeling agents, casting directors, producers, managers and other industry professionals that attened Talent Rock. There were also some special celebrity guests at the event, such as comedian, actress and writer Ellen Cleghorne; Hollywood Producer & Academy Award Winner John Daly; Actor Michael Copon from One Tree Hill; Brittany Brower from America's Next Top Model and even company owner Lou Pearlman. Trans Continental artists Natural, CNOTE, Sean van der Wilt, US5 and Smilez & Southstar also rocked the stage.
The competition was real fun and I got to see and meet alot of nice, talented people. But probably one of the best parts about it was getting to attended more than 20 industry workshops. These workshops offered alot of good advise and tips on how to get the most from your talent. I wish I could say more but I don't want to give away all of the tips I learned, I guess you will just have to go check it out for yourself.
